An investigation is now underway through Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) after a dangerous head-on collision in Cambridge.
Officers said it happened Wednesday, Mar. 26, at around 10:35 p.m. on Pinebush Road, just east of Franklin Boulevard.
They say the crash involved a Toyota and a Honda vehicle when the two cars met head-on in the roadway.
The driver of the Honda, a 45-year-old from Brantford, was uninjured.
The 31-year-old Cambridge man who was behind the wheel of the Toyota was sent to hospital by regional paramedics after suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
The extent of the damage between the two vehicles, as well as the circumstances that led to the head-on collision, are still not known, along with any potential charges that could result from the incident.
Officers are still investigating, now asking that anyone with dash-cam footage or further information on the incident reach out to WRPS.
