An investigation is now underway through Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) following a person-on-person robbery involving an assault in Kitchener.
According to police, reports first came in of the incident at around 3:10 a.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 31, when they were told of a victim who was walking on Howland Drive near Ottawa Street South, where they were approached by four unknown men.
Officers said the victim was assaulted by those four suspects, who then stole their personal belongings.
When emergency services arrived on scene, that victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Details and information around those four suspects are not known at this time, with the investigation still ongoing through regional police.
