Two people have been arrested by Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS), each tied to an ongoing drug investigation in the region.
Officers with the Drugs and Firearms Unit say they conducted a search of two homes late last week, one in Kitchener and another in Milton, as well as a vehicle in connection.
Across those sites, police said they found a list of suspected drugs, ranging from fentanyl and cocaine, to MDMA, and over 300 assorted pills, as well as a large quantity of cash.
As a result of the investigation, WRPS has arrested two men, a 24-year-old from Milton and a 20-year-old from Toronto.
Both are facing 6 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, while the Milton man is also facing an additional charge for failing to comply with a release order.
Both were held in custody for a bail hearing, and the investigation remains ongoing.
