Waterloo regional police are looking for any witnesses, including those with dash-camera footage, after a fatal collision in Waterloo on Tuesday.
It was just before 11 a.m. when emergency crews responded to the area of Fischer-Hallman Road and Columbia Street West for reports of a three vehicle crash.
That collision was said to have involved a Nissan, Ford and Cadillac.
While details are still limited police said the driver of the Nissan, a 78-year-old Waterloo man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and later pronounced dead.
The driver of the involved Ford, a 62-year-old man from Waterloo, was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the 63-year-old Waterloo woman driving the Cadillac was not hurt.
Police closed the intersection of Fischer-Hallman and Columbia for several hours for a collision investigation, and have since reopened the roadways.
