An arrest has been made and charges laid on a 68-year-old Kitchener man tied to a child sexual abuse and exploitation investigation through Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS).

While details are limited on the investigation itself, due to the sensitivity of the case and for the safety of those youths involved, police said it led to the arrest of a 68-year-old Kitchener man.
He’s now facing charges of Possession of Child Sexual Assault and Exploitation Material as well as Distribution of Intimate Images Without Consent.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
