Waterloo Regional Police have laid charges following a sexual assault investigation in Kitchener.
On June 25, 2026, at approximately 8:50 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance outside a residence in the Doon South area.
Upon arrival, police located a male who had been involved in a physical altercation with another adult male.
Through the investigation, officers determined the altercation occurred after allegations that the accused had sexually assaulted a youth.
A 19-year-old male from Kitchener was arrested in connection to the incident and has been charged with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference.
The accused was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing. There were no reports of any physical injuries.
