Investigators through Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) are looking to the public for help in identifying an individual tied to an ongoing sexual assault case in Waterloo.
According to police, the incident happened back on Jun. 27, 2026, when officers said an adult woman was sexually assaulted by multiple individuals at a home in the area of Albert Street and University Avenue West.
Following the initial investigation, two men were arrested, including a 23-year-old man from Wellesley Township and a 31-year-old man from Waterloo.
The two were each charged with sexual assault and sexual assault causing bodily harm.

Now, over two months later, the investigation remains ongoing, with investigators releasing photos of an individual they also believe is tied to the June incident.
Officers are reaching out to the public in the hopes of helping to identify and locate the individual.
