Police are looking to identify a motorcyclist who is said to have fled a traffic stop in the Royal City.
Guelph Police said it all stemmed from an incident Friday, Oct. 2, just before 2 p.m., when a member of its traffic unit was patrolling near Kortright Road West and Edinburgh Road South.
Police said they observed a blue motorcycle being driven dangerously and speeding in the area.
“The officer followed the motorcycle and attempted to pull it over, however the operator fled and was last seen on College Avenue West towards the Hanlon Expressway,” said Guelph Police in a release.
Officers said the motorcycle is believed to be an older-model Suzuki GSX-R.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Guelph Police.
