A Kitchener man is now facing a list of impaired driving charges following a collision on a Highway 427 ramp Sunday that sent half a dozen people to hospital.
It was just before 3:20 a.m. on Sunday when Toronto OPP responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash on the northbound 427 ramp to westbound lanes of Highway 401. Provincial police report that crash involved a sedan and an SUV.
Six people were transported to a Toronto-area hospital, including one occupant of one of the involved vehicles that sustained life-threatening injuries.

24-year-old Navdeep Singh, from Kitchener, now faces several charges including:
- Operation While Impaired Cause Bodily Harm (two counts)
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
- Dangerous Operation Cause Bodily Harm (two counts)
- Fail to Stop at Accident Resulting in Bodily Harm (two counts)
The investigation is still ongoing, with members from the OPP Highway Safety Division’s Traffic Support Unit assisting.
