With the 2026 municipal election inching closer as autumn progresses, some key dates for advance polling are just days away across much of Waterloo Region.
Compared with provincial and federal elections, municipal elections have separate advance polling dates for each city, township, and municipality.
That’s on top of varying areas permitting online voting, with Cambridge, Wilmot, Wellesley, North Dumfries, and Woolwich allowing internet voting, while Waterloo and Kitchener do not.
