A series of charges, including trespassing and voyeurism, have been laid following a suspicious person investigation in Kitchener.
Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) said it received a call Saturday, Aug. 8, at around 9:40 p.m., reporting that a suspicious person had been seen in the area of Valebrook Street and Deer Creek Street.
Officers said that man fled the area before police arrived. However, the next day, WRPS said it was able to identify and locate that suspect in question.
While the exact details haven’t been released as to the circumstances that led to his arrest, police have since charged him with committing an indecent act, voyeurism, and trespassing at night.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
