A sudden death investigation is now ongoing through Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) after the body of a woman was found in a Kitchener neighbourhood.
Officers said it was first brought to light Thursday, Sept. 10, at around 3:45 p.m., when police said they discovered a woman’s body in the area of Mooregate Crescent.
That’s in a neighbourhood located just off Victoria Street South between Fischer-Hallman Road and Westmount Road West.

While WRPS has stated that an investigation into the circumstances around the sudden death is still ongoing, officers have stated that “the death is not considered suspicious.”
