A motorcyclist has been left in serious condition following a single-vehicle crash in Kitchener.
Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) said the incident happened Sunday, Oct. 4, around 3:05 p.m., when reports came in about the incident on Ottawa Street South near Homer Watson Boulevard.
Emergency services arrived on scene to find the driver of the motorcycle, a 60-year-old Kitchener man, in serious condition, and had to send him to an out-of-region hospital for treatment.

The severity of the collision led to a multi-hour road closure as the initial investigation got underway, but it was reopened later that evening.
Police are still investigating the circumstances that led to the collision itself, now asking that anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage of it reach out to WRPS at 519-570-9777, extension 8856.
