Police said on Oct. 23 at around 9:15 a.m., officers responded to a report of a motorist who did not stop for a school bus while children were actively being picked up along its typical route on South River Road.

In a press release, police said it is illegal to pass a school bus that is stopped, has its arm extended, and its red lights are flashing.
