Three people are in hospital, and investigations are ongoing tied to a three-vehicle crash in Woolwich Township.
Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) said it all happened on Oct. 27, at around 6:30 p.m., when officers were called about a multi-vehicle crash in the area of Arthur Street South near Sawmill Road.
Police said the crash involved a black Honda sedan, a grey Kia SUV, and a blue Toyota sedan.
According to WRPS, the driver of the Honda suffered the most severe injuries, saying, “A 26-year-old Listowel male was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.”

Meanwhile, the driver of the Kia, a 68-year-old Woolwich woman, and the driver of the Toyota, a 69-year-old Kitchener woman, were both transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The severity of the crash led to a multi-hour closure as cleanup efforts and the initial investigation got underway, reopening later that evening.
At this time, no details have been released surrounding the circumstances that led to the collision or whether any charges are expected.
The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage of the crash is asked to contact WRPS at 519-570-9777, extension 8856.
