An investigation is ongoing around a motorcycle theft in Kitchener, with Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) now releasing a photo and footage in the hopes of identifying and locating the suspect in question.
According to police, the incident happened Aug. 1, when officers were told that a motorcycle had been stolen in the area of King Street West and Water Street North.
Investigators arrived on scene and learned that an unknown suspect had attended the site, located at a business in that stretch, and taken the bike at around 6:40 p.m. that evening.

In hopes of aiding the investigation, WRPS has now released footage from a surveillance camera in the area, showing a bald man with what appears to have been a grey polo shirt, darker shorts, and black boots, walking the motorcycle away from the site using its handlebars.
Officers are hoping that the footage will help identify and locate that suspect in question, now releasing it to the public for help.
