A youth is now recovering in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Cambridge.
It was late on Wednesday afternoon, just after 5, when regional police responded to reports of a serious crash on King Street East in the area of Waterloo Street North.
An investigation determined that female youth was crossing the roadway when she was hit by an eastbound Honda sedan, being operated by a 27-year-old man from Cambridge.

Police said the youth was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A road closure was put in place temporarily to allow officers to conduct their investigation, and has since been cleared.
