WRPS looking to identify suspects tied to Kitchener bank card fraud

An investigation into a case of bank card fraud is on the go in Kitchener, with Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) reaching out to the public to help identify suspects tied to the case.

The incident was first reported on Aug. 1, when officers were told of the fraudulent use of a bank card at a business on Highland Road West.

They said that the card was used by two unknown suspects, with the total value of goods purchased at over $400.

Using security footage from the local business, WRPS has now released photos in the hopes that the public may be able to offer some assistance in identifying those suspects in question.

The investigation remains ongoing, with officers asking that anyone with details on those suspects or the incident itself reach out to WRPS at 519-570-9777, extension 6399.
