Traffic with Luke Schulz
Luke Schulz graduated from the Radio Broadcasting program at Conestoga College in 2017. Luke has experience in production, promotions, technical operations, announcing and reporting – garnered from a young, exciting career in the field of broadcasting.

Luke then joined the Rogers Radio Group in March of 2017 in the promotions department, meeting listeners face-to-face.
From filling in occasionally for Paul Herriot on 570’s talk shows, to overnight operation of Kitchener Rangers games, Luke worked to find his way to the position of reporter and anchor – where he contributed regularly on-air and online.
Luke then made the move to FM 985 CKWR in July of 2026, where he now serves as the station’s Lead Traffic Reporter.
In his spare time, Luke enjoys spending time with his wife, or running his close group of friends through a harrowing adventure of Dungeons & Dragons. He’s also quite the music nerd and is constantly looking for the latest and greatest from any and all musical genres.
You’re likely to find him enjoying one of the many fine eateries or craft breweries that the region has to offer.
